Mentoring

Mentoring is a key value proposition of TiE and is a one-on-one interaction between a senior entrepreneur or professional and an entrepreneur who needs guidance and advise from someone who has an educated view on the subject or who has more experience in the situation under discussion.

Throughout the year, Charter Members are available to provide one on-one mentoring sessions to help members. These sessions cover any and all aspects of a member’s needs including business plan creation and presentation, fundraising, operational guidance, business development, and career counseling. Typical mentoring sessions last one hour. Appointments are arranged in advance, through an online application.

While mentoring sessions are scheduled at the mutual convenience of mentor and mentee, mentoring clinics are fixed on a particular day in every quarter. At these clinics, a large number of charter members as well as other appropriate invitees (e.g. senior professionals, entrepreneurs outside the TiE network, academicians, etc.) spend half a day mentoring entrepreneurs in 30-45 minute sessions.

Mentoring sessions are organized on a rolling basis for members and there are no prerequisites or additional fees associated with this program. These sessions are pre-scheduled and typically last for 30-45 min. To request an appointment, please fill the Mentoring Request Form and mail it to harsh (at) tiemumbai.org :

  • Means of Introductions
  • Requesting for Angel or VC Funds
  • For Non-TiE members
  • For idea stage enterprises (For that sign up for our Idea Validation Hotline )
  • For a sustained period, by design. You may end up building a personal sustained relationship with your mentor. In case you are looking at sustained mentoring, sign up for Entrepreneurship Nurturing Program (ENP)

First we want to thank TiE people for this generosity in helping the budding entrepreneurs. They contributed their valuable time to sort some of the confusions what we have regarding our own Ventures.. We interacted with Mr. Ashih Panjwani, Managing Partner - Epsilon Consulting, regarding our venture GUIDELINE Education Services (GuESS) . Also E-CELL of tiss and our beloved faculty deserves a huge applaud for connecting TiE and CSE. The session was really thought provoking and provided lot of insights about Entrepreneurship and how business runs in real time scenario. TiE Mumbai Business Guidance Camp - Kanan Nabar

It was a privilege to be mentored by Manu Parpia in a focused session at the business guidance camp. TiE Mumbai Business Guidance Camp

It was indeed a pleasure to be a part of the Business Guidance Camp. Inputs from Chandni Sehgal - my mentor were very relevant. Throughout every session of TiE starting from Manak Singh at the top - all mentors laid emphasis on the areas to focus - primarily starting with the Customer. All of TiE sessions have been brilliant and concise and help entrepreneurs focus on the right areas.
